Art of Thinking
Meet the Team
Committed to helping students reach their full potential.

Harry Guo
Co-Founder & Co-President
Harry Guo is a rising senior attending Andover High School and is the Co-Founder and Co-President of Art of Thinking. He first discovered his passion for writing in elementary school, and since then, he has won a silver key for poetry in the Scholastic Art and Writing Awards and has over 13,000 plays across all streaming platforms for his record label. Harry continued to explore his passion for writing at a professional level, working under Dr. Joshua Bennett, a Professor of Literature, Distinguished Chair of the Humanities at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, to give a voice to minority poets by adding their works to The Poetry Archive. In the past few years, he noticed that many of the students he worked with had a strong desire to learn but simply lacked the educational opportunities to reach their full potential. He co-founded Art of Thinking in order to help these disadvantaged students receive equal opportunities in the humanities. As Co-Founder and Co-President of AoT, his mission is to nurture students’ love for learning and provide access to humanities education for all students, regardless of their socioeconomic background.
Terry Ding
Co-Founder & Co-President
Terry Ding is a rising senior at Wilmington High School and is the Co-Founder & Co-President of Art of Thinking. He discovered his love for STEM topics at a young age. Since then, he has gone on to further his interest by founding his school's math club and joining math and computer science competitions. Terry hopes to continue his career in STEM with a Biomedical related internship. As a Co-Founder and Co-President of Art of Thinking, he hopes to instill and cultivate students' love of STEM topics, such as math and computer science, regardless of their socioeconomic background.

Alex Liu
Vice President of Technical Operations
Alex Liu is a rising senior attending Andover High School and is the Vice President of Art of Thinking. Having found his passion and drive in STEM (more specifically in the field of medicine) and serving his community, Alex worked to earn leadership positions in several school organizations like the Volleyball Club, UNICEF Club, Recycling Club, Boys Volleyball Team, and Future Medical Professionals Club. Academically, he also worked to achieve a maximum score of 5 on all three of his first ever AP exams (AP Biology, AP Physics 1, and AP English Language) in his junior year, earning him the AP Scholar Award. Already experienced with teaching many age groups in subjects like math, biology, physics, and chemistry, both as volunteering and as an occupation, Alex, as the Vice President of Technical Operations of Art of Thinking, hopes to instill a personal interest in academics for the students while creating a warm community where anyone and everyone can feel welcome and comfortable.
